About me

Toyin Akanni is a British-Nigerian author and teacher.  She spent her formative years in Nigeria and moved to London at the age of sixteen. She holds a master’s degree in environmental science and a creative writing diploma from University of Cambridge. When she isn’t in the classrooms, she enjoys sharing various shades of the African culture through her writing.  Toyin is currently writing her debut fantasy novel.
